A recent development has been the use of arrays of high power red LEDs in place of incandescent bulbs, which has only been possible since the development of LEDs of sufficient brightness。 LED based lamps have a significantly longer lifespan than incandescent bulbs, thus reducing maintenance costs and increasing reliability。 Several manufacturers have also developed medium intensity white strobes based on LED technology to replace Xenon。 Xenon flashers, whilst more visually impressive, tend to require frequent replacement and so have become a less favoured option。 However, with the advent of LEDs, white strobes are still somewhat desired。 It is common to find structures with white xenon flashers/white strobes during the daytime, and red lights at night。 Red lights are commonly found to be used in urban areas, since it is easier for pilots to spot them from above。 White strobes (that flash 24/7)panel PC may also be used in urban areas。

However, it has been recommended that flashing white strobes should not be used in densely populated areas; the lights usually merge with background lighting at nighttime, making it difficult for pilots to spot themVideo wall and thereby aggravating the hazard。 In addition, residents near the lit structure will complain ofIndustrial monitor light trespass。 In rural areas, red beacons/strobes may also be used during nighttime。 However, white strobes are (sometimes) preferred since it reduces maintenance cost (i。e。 no maintenance of painting, no red side lights) and there are no background lights that would blend with the strobes。 For white strobes, there is a medium intensity whitesunlight readable strobe and a hightouch screen monitor intensity white strobe。 Medium Intensity White Strobes are usually used on structures that are between 200500 feet (61-152。4Fanless pc meters)。 If a medium white strobe is used on a structure greater than 500 feet (152All in one computer。4 meters), the structure must be painted。

Plastic bearing-How to Clean Skate Bearings

Skate bearings gPlastic bearingenerally last a long time and require little maintenance。 If you ride them in the rain or through some puddles then it might be a good idea afterwards to give them a strip and regrease just to stop them rusting too fast。 Many people keep an old knackered set of bearings specifically for sliding and skating in the rain。 Saves you rusting up those brand new bearings you just got for your speed board!

Take the nut off the axle and slide the wheel along the axle so that the innermost bearing is just on the edge of the axle。 Using the same kind of motion as you would to open a bottle of beer, prise the bearing out of the wheel。 Flip the wheel over and repeat。

Once you€¬€ve got your bearings out of your wheels, you need to get inside the cartridges。 If you€¬€re lucky your bearings will only have a single shield, but most likely you€¬€ll have to take one of the shields off so you can get to the balls and cage。 With a rubber shielded bearing this is easy - just prize one shield off with a small screwdriver。 Unless you are VERY careful you€¬€re probably going to damage the shield taking it off - but that€¬€s OK, you only really need one on each bearing。 Metal-shielded bearings have a €¬…€C€¬ clip round the outside of the race thatslide bearing you€¬€ll need to take off。 On some bearings it is possible to remove the balls and cage from the race entirely for individual cleaning - but unless you really have nothing better to do it´s not really worth it。

Next you need to get all the old crap and grease out of your bearing races。 Avoid using WD40 - the best bet is to use methylated spirit or just soak the bearings in some solvent or alcohol。 Lemon juice works well too! Soak your bearings in your chosen liquid try putting the bearings in a jam jar and shake the bejeezus out of them for about 2 minutes, then rinse them with some more clean solvent。

Regreasing:

Dry them off (hair dryers are handy here) relube them with a touch of oil or grease。 You don€¬€t need much lube in there so don€¬€t go too crazy! The thinner your lube, the faster your bearings will spin, but the more prone to destruction they will be。 Oil makes your bearings mega fast, but if any crap at all gets in there your bearings will be toast。 Plus oil has a nasty tendency to spin out of the bearing at speed leaving your bearings without any lubricant, which leads to overheating bearings and melting wheels。 Not cool€¬¦ but maybe worth loOKing at if you really like cleaning bearings。 On the other end of the spectrum is medium grease like the white stuff you can get at a bike shop。 If you use this your bearings will be much more resistant to crap and should last a lot longer, especially if you ride in the rain a lot - but the flip side is that they€¬€ll spin slower。 Really your best bet is a skateboard bearing specific lubes like Powell Speed cream or similar light grease。

sintered metal-Lachido The Science of Attraction

The old saying tsintered metalhat ´opposites attract´ has been around for years。 But is it really true? Because there´s also the saying that ´Birds of a feather flock together´。 So which could it be, and is it possible that both can apply to relationships?

Surprising news; mabye neither apply! Our attraction may actually depend on your attachment style。 According to recent studies, there are 4 different types of attachments in adults: secure, anxious - preoccupied, dismissive - avoidant, and fearful - avoidant (which tend to be combined into simply Avoidant。)

Not Sure which you are? Take a test here and find out!

Secure people tend to be comfortable slipping into relationships, and usually have a history of warm and responsive interactions with their partners。 They have good outlooks on relationships and are not afraid to be alone or attached。

Anxious- preoccupied people tend to look for extremely high levels of intimacy in their relationships, and can usually have low self-esteem, and a fear that their partner will leave。 So much so that they become preoccupied with the fear that one wrong move will incite a break up。

People who fall into the Dismissive- Avoidant category are the type who value their independence greatly, and also can be very defensive。 They view themselves as not being needy and are quite proud of it, sometimes even avoiding relationships altogether as uneccessary。

Thepowder metal Fearful- Avoidant personalities are uncomfortable getting close to others, even though they may want to be。 They crave, and fear intimacy at the same time。 A lot of people of this type have been abused, or suffered significant losses in their lives。

A lot of people can subconsciously pick someone of an opposing attachment style as a way to ´balance´ them out。 Which is where the ´opposites attract´ theory applies。 A shy person may end up with a more outgoing person, and the shy person may be great with money, whereas the outgoing person is horriblepowder metal at it。 In these situations, a good balance is found。

And just because you aren´t alike in personality, doesn´t mean you aren´t similar in other ways, such as age, beliefs, education, nationality。 Which is where we get to ´Birds of a Feather Flock Together。´ You may think you are complete opposites, but there must have been some similarities to attract you to each other。 So it would appear that both statements apply almost equally。

In the end, it doesn´tsintered metal really matter whether you are polar opposites or two peas in a pod。 What matters is how you handles your differences and adjust to them to complement each other as a couple。 Remember to be open and accepting of each others differences, and embrace them。 When you love someone, you love everything about them, good and bad。
